The Artist
LEN
FRUSHTICK
Len was born in the Bronx, New York and started
drawing at an early age. He was accepted into The School Of
Industrial Arts in New York City, where he studied all phases of
art. After graduating, he continued his art education at the Arts
Students League and the Phoenix School Of Design both in New York
City.
Using his art background, Len developed, designed,
manufactured and sold industrial machinery. During this time, he
continued painting to satisfy his creative urges. Upon retiring, Len
moved to Jupiter. Florida where he continued his artistic studies
with Garri Katz, Murray York and Hugh O' Neill at the Lighthouse
Center For The Arts. Len has since moved west to Las Vegas, Nevada.
He has become very active hiking into the mountains, where he
captures the color and moods of the scenery from within on his
canvas. Some of Len's favorite places to paint are Florida, North
Carolina, the mountains of the western states and Europe.
Len's works have been hanging in Florida, North
Carolina, Georgia, Nevada and Marblehead Massachusetts. He has
exhibited his paintings at the Lighthouse Center For The Arts, the
North Shore Arts Association of Gloucester Massachusetts, the
Northern Trust Bank of Stuart, Florida, the Las Vegas Art Museum and
in many other venues,
